What a treat to run across this site. Was searching for some wood type and this site came up. I have been in this industry (printing and graphics) for over 50 years and yes, i do know about letterpress and making plates and mounting type high and dragons blood and Vandercook and more. I still work in pre-press and pre-media and also teach 2 college classes. Thanks for being here and i will join and keep in contact. Annette
Ladies of the Letterpress is an organization formed by individuals interested in fostering dialogue and camaraderie among women printers. Our mission is to promote the art and craft of letterpress printing, encourage the voice and vision of women printers, and to stimulate discourse within this community. We strive to maintain the cultural legacy of fine press printing, advance letterpress as a living, contemporary art form as well as a viable commercial printing method.
